Button family crumpets
They’re back! Apparently after earthquake damage caused production to stop, they have since started production again and are selling their delicious crumpets in some supermarkets. Button Family crumpets appear to be no longer available from supermarkets. We have reached out for comment on this.

August 12, 2019 at 12:58 pmOur family crumpets have gone out of our supermarkets in the Far North of the North Island which was very sad . I’m guessing the recent Christchurch earthquake has hit production, not heard anything on FB about this either 😔 Would love to know what’s happening.

Following on from the earthquake, Button family crumpets built a whole new production line. I’m not sure what has recently happened. Still haven’t heard back from them.

July 2, 2019 at 11:10 amI used to be able to buy your crumpets at Pak N Save Hornby, now they have gone and there is no shelf space for them. Any thoughts please, or alternative places I could buy from? Thanks.

July 2, 2019 at 2:14 pmHi Dave, good question! I have noticed little stock of these crumpets in supermarkets and indeed google has marked their factory as permanently closed (I am hoping this is wrong). I have been in touch with Button Family Crumpets about this and will report back once I hear back
