Ski season is upon us!

 

Winter seems well and truly here now! One of the great things about living in Christchurch is proximity to several wonderful ski fields. Here’s a wrap on our local ski fields

Mt Hutt:

Opening 9th June 9am. Their latest snow report states packed powder with 25cm falling on Sunday!
Only a 90 minute drive from Christchurch, Mt Hutt is a popular ski field to visit for Cantabrians and tourists alike!
A one day lift pass will cost $99 for an a adult and an adult season pass will cost $749.

Porters:

“Intended” opening June 23rd. Only 89km from Christchurch, Porters report that they had 20cm of snow on the 4th of June with conditions for further snow making looking good.

A one day lift pass for an adult starts at $79 and they are offering adult season passes from $699. Porters also have a premium season pass which offers a ton of extras!

Mt Cheeseman:

Opening 8th July in time for the school holidays.
An adult lift pass starts at $79 and they are offering an adult season pass for $299! This is an early bird price which goes upto $429 from 1 May.

Mt Olympus:

Opening 8th July.
A daily adult pass is $30 and they are only charging $360 for a season pass!
